These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Stick ("Stick," "we," "our," or "us") governing your use of the Stick mobile application and related services (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Stick. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You sign in with Apple and choose a public handle and display name. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device and Apple ID secure. Do not impersonate others or choose a handle you do not have the right to use. We may reclaim handles that are inactive, misleading, or infringe someone else's rights.
"Content" means anything you submit to the App — rounds, scores, photos, captions, comments, course submissions, and profile details. You retain ownership of your Content. By posting it, you grant Stick a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that Content for the purpose of operating and improving the App, including showing it to other users through feeds, profiles, and leaderboards.
You are responsible for your Content and represent that you have the rights to post it and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.

Stick is a social community. We provide tools to report and block users and content. We may review, remove, or restrict content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe harm the community — with or without notice. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
Stick may offer optional paid features. Any purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account and are subject to Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple.
The App, including its name, logo, design, and software (excluding user Content), is owned by Stick and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App.
The App relies on third-party services, including Apple and Supabase, and may link to third-party content. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including Content licenses granted for already-shared content, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will survive.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scores, leaderboards, or course data will be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stick will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or CAD $50.
You agree to indemnify and hold Stick harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your Content, your use of the App, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada for any disputes not otherwise subject to Apple's terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
